Outrageous Cross Country
Tuesday last week was our outrageous Cross Country. We had a super time. It started off with a bang and ended with a puff. Now enjoy our photos.

Annette Smith Author
Last Friday the 15 of May on a soaking day, Annette Smith flew from Hamilton to Nelson. She rattled down the road to C.T.S. school. First she watched us zip past her as we practiced for our very professional cross country race. Twenty minutes later still puffing, we gathered into Room 1 to hear our famous author share with us her secrets of writing. We found out we need to use descriptive language to paint our story pictures. Please enjoy our photos, especially notice we have some young authors at our school too.

NEW CAMERA
Our new camera is fantastic because it takes really cool photos. This is a photo of us writing our sixth day in our diary. We are learning to write about a major and minor theme using describing words and excellent sentence starts. Enjoy our photos.

BACKYARD SCIENCE :-)
On the Friday 1st of May, the class eagerly walked along to the Art Room to do some painting, only to discover that the science man Sterling, was waiting at the door with his big box which had science written on it.
Once settled and sorted with our safety equipment he told us to think the coldest thing. The answer we came with was dry ice. We had lots of fun experimenting with dry ice. Have fun looking at all of our action pictures.
